The monster burger waiting for Preston when lockdown ends

The takeaway trade has boomed during the coronavirus lockdown with it being one of the very few industries to stay alive and kicking.
And for Preston eatery Kebabistan, the team is taking it one step further through its monster burger.
Its owner, Yunus Sevinik, has created a huge 14 inch burger containing two kilogram of meat.
He is promising anyone who can finish it within 20 minutes a £1,000 voucher to spend at the takeaway.
The challenge to eat the £35 burger will be available once lockdown restrictions are lifted.
“This is my style,” Yunus said. “Whenever people ask me why are my prices a bit up I tell them I do homemade, I don’t buy cheap products.”
And he has said that people are already lining up to take the challenge on.
The giant burger, which is lamb rather than beef, has been on the menu for three weeks already for regular orders.
It comes with cheese, salad, pickled cucumber and tomato. Yunus says the dish can feed up to 10 people.
Last year Kebabistan created a two metre long wrap, the winner eating the huge meal in only nine minutes.
