Coronavirus figures for every area in Lancashire on Monday, June 1

Five areas of Lancashire have announced no new coronavirus cases in Lancashire, according to Public Health England figures released this evening (June 1).

A total of 18 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Preston recorded the most with four new cases while Blackpool and Chorley increased by three.

There were no new cases reported in Burnley, Hyndburn, Lancaster, Pendle and South Ribble.

There are now 4,684 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Lancashire as a whole, but it is highly likely that cases where no symptoms have been shown are not included in this figure due to limited testing being done.

Confirmed cases of Covid-19by borough as of June 1:

  • Blackburn with Darwen – 411 (+1), 275.9 per 100,000 
  • Blackpool – 643 (+3), 461.6 per 100,000 
  • Burnley – 194 (-), 218 per 100,000 
  • Chorley – 344 (+3), 294.5 per 100,000 
  • Fylde – 259 (+1), 324.7 per 100,000 
  • Hyndburn – 148 (-), 183.1 per 100,000 
  • Lancaster – 798 (-), 553.2 per 100,000 
  • Pendle – 187 (-), 204.6 per 100,000 
  • Preston – 440 (+4), 310.3 per 100,000 
  • Ribble Valley – 97 (+2), 161.5 per 100,000 
  • Rossendale – 174 (+1), 245.4 per 100,000 
  • South Ribble – 254 (-), 229.8 per 100,000 
  • West Lancs – 378 (+2), 331.7 per 100,000 
  • Wyre – 357 (+1), 321.0 per 100,000
