Motorcyclist thrown from bike in Preston crash outside KFC

A motorcyclist was thrown from their bike in a Preston crash over the weekend.
Police were called at around 1.45pm yesterday (May 31) to Port Way after the motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a car, close to KFC.
Officers closed the road for more than an hour while they attended.
Only minor injuries resulted, confirms Lancashire Constbulary. Images sent to LancsLive showed the scene and that the road was closed.
A police spokesperson told LancsLive: “We were called to a minor injury collision on Port Way.
“It involved a motorbike and a car.
“The road was closed at 1.45pm and was reopened by 3pm.”
Traffic returned to normal soon after the collision.
