Investigation launched after death of man

An investigation is underway following the death of a man in Blackpool. 
We were called at 5.15pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 9th) to a report of a sudden death at an address on Talbot Road.
Police and paramedics attended and sadly the body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found dead inside the address.
The death is currently being treated as suspicious. A Home Office post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to try to establish the cause of death.
A 26-year-old man from Blackpool has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Enquiries are on-going.
Det Ch Insp Pauline Stables, of Lancashire Police, said: “An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Blackpool.
“These are tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with the man involved at this sad time.
“While we have made an arrest I would encourage anyone who feels they can assist with our enquiries to come forward.”
