Nearly 200 properties are without power in Preston

Nearly 200 properties in Preston are without power as a result of an ‘unexpected’ incident.
A total of 191 businesses and homes in the PR3 postcode area are affected, with power first reported as being out at 1.28pm today (June 19).
Engineers area heading to the site and hope to have the issue fixed by 3.33pm.
An Electricity North West spokesperson said: “The power cut in your area has been caused by an unexpected incident on our high voltage cables which provide electricity to your property.
In a post on Twitter, ENW said: We are aware of a powercut in #PR3 #Preston. This is affecting 191 properties. Engineers are on the way but you may have issues ringing 105 at the moment
