Appeal following collision in Accrington

We are appealing for information following a collision between a car and motorcycle in Accrington.
It happened on Friday (June 19th) at around 5:10pm at the junction of Burnley Road and Wedgewood Road, when a Vauxhall Astra has collided with a Yahama motorbike as it was turning onto Burnley Road.
The motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment.
Sgt Lee Harris from Lancashire’s Tactical Operations said: “If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened or have dash cam footage of the incident, please speak to us as you could have important information to assist our investigation.”
