Written by on July 1, 2020

Police are growing ‘increasingly worried’ for the welfare of a missing Preston teenager.

William Cowell, 16, went missing from the city on Saturday (June 27) and has not been seen since.

At the time of his disappearance, police say he was wearing a long grey-sleeved Under Armour top which had orange writing, along with black shorts, black Adidas trainers and a snood face covering.

Officers are appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts and are urging people to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Preston police said: “Lancashire Police are becoming increasingly worried for the welfare of William Cowell, a 16-year-old who has gone missing from the Preston area.

“He was last seen 27th June 2020, he was wearing long grey sleeves under armour top with orange writing, black shorts, black Adidas trainers, a snood face covering.”

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of William should telephone 101 and quote log number LC-20200629-1485.
