Hour-by-hour Lancs weekend forecast and when it will be sunny again
Written by Skywave Radio News on July 18, 2020

This weekend has got off to a fairly miserable start for many of us across Lancashire with lots of rain, drizzle and looming dark clouds.
While the south of England is basking in glorious sunshine and whopping 25C – hotter temperatures than Mexico – our region continues to see unseasonal July weather with the mercury level barely rising above 15C.
Forecasters say the rest of today will be mostly cloudy and wet with the heaviest outbreaks of rain across northern and western parts of the county.
There will be some brighter spells developing from the north after lunch which will extend south later.
The rain will continue into southern parts of Lancashire tonight with persistent cloud and a maximum temperature of 15C.
If you want to enjoy the best of the weekend weather then it would the best to set the alarm clock early tomorrow with sunshine and bright spells until around 10am.
After that it continues to be mainly cloudy with isolated showers developing around lunchtime.
However these will tend to clear, according to the Met Office, but temperatures will stay around the 15C mark.
