Police hunt man over suspected arson in Chorley

A man is wanted by police in connection with an arson investigation near Chorley town centre.

The fire took place at a property in Vicarage Street, Chorley, on Wednesday, June 24.

Officers from Lancashire Police first appealed to find Sean Fisher five days after the suspected arson happened.

Today (August 4), officers have revealed they are still looking to find 24-year-old Fisher, of no fixed abode, in relation to the incident.

Fisher is described as white and of medium build and has links to the Chorley area.

DC Laura Cowell, of South CID, said: “We urgently need to speak to Fisher as part of our ongoing inquiry.

“If anybody knows where he is I would urge them to contact police straight away. Similarly, if Fisher sees this appeal, I would urge him to make contact with us immediately.”
