After 100 years of service, today is the day that Prestonians will say goodbye to Yates’s and hello to the new Slug and Lettuce.
The full refurbishment of the beloved pub has now been complete as managers of the local branch open the doors of the new modern bar from today (December 3).
Slug & Lettuce is part of the Stonegate Pub Company and operates as a chain of bars throughout the UK. It was first opened in Islington in 1985.
Yates’s Preston, situated on the Preston high street, proudly stood for over a century and once offered an extensive food menu with a variety of deals, including two meals for £8.49.
Now, it has been replaced by the cocktail bar where customers can expect nothing short of boozy brunches, classic dinners and cocktails on trees.
Slug and Lettuce claim that their Preston branch “is a cool and contemporary bar, newly refurbished with stunning birdcage booths and the most instagrammable decor you can imagine”.
Now you can see for yourself just how Instagrammable this brand new bar is.
