Have you ever heard of an ice cream curl? Because the UK’s only ice-cream curl franchise is opening it’s first Lancashire store in Chorley.
Cream Curl already has 10 stores across the UK, and will now be bringing their sweet treats to the town. The doors to their newest shop on Eaves Lane opened today (August 5) and they will serve a range of foods from smash burgers to waffles and of course, their signature ice cream curls.
Masood Mohammed, Cream Curls events manager said: “Its been four years since we first opened our shop in the north east of England. And now we’ve got six in the north east, we’ve got one in Birmingham, we’ve got Widnes, we’ve got Belfast and now Chorley.

“So it is going from strength to strength. I think the biggest pull is our handcrafted ice cream rolls.”
The shop itself is stunning too. Complete with a swing, every corner of the shop is instagramable. One of the franchise owners, Hina, 38, said she was looking forward to her first ever business venture.
She said: “I’d been to another Cream curls store and I really liked the menu, so I made the plunge and we decided to open one of our own. We’re really excited to be opening, there’s nothing really like this in Chorley. We are really nervous too though, nervous for real customers!”
Rolled ice cream has many different names around the world, Thai-rolled ice cream, stir fried ice cream, stir-fried gelato. It is is a sweetened frozen dessert made using milk, cream and sugars
