The incident occurred at around 5.45pm yesterday (Tuesday, September 26th) on The Marshes Lane, after a Skoda Kodiaq left the road and collided with a fence. The driver of the vehicle – believed to be a man aged in his 70s – was sadly pronounced dead a short time later in hospital.
